This portable Spectroline (R) MiniMAX (TM) UV lamp is like having two UV lamps, and their capabilities, in one handy, lightweight unit! It features a Long-wave/Short-wave UV multi-band tube with "Longlife (TM) glass filter (3x5/8 in/7.6x1.6cm) and sliding dual-wavelength selector cover. Use it for sanitary inspection and for UV sanitizing/disinfection of disease causing microorganisms on any hard surface or object. In other words, all of the sanitation uses of a long wave lamp and/of a short wave Germicidal UV lamp. And like all of our new Spectroline (R)MiniMAX Series lamps, the unique, patent pending "shadow-box" design blocks ambient room light and makes materials glow brighter.
