Lindsay, Pope, Brayfield, and Assoc. Inc. was established as a sole proprietorship by Winford "Buck" Lindsay, FAIA, in 1975. The original business plan was to be a small general practice community Architecture firm. However, in 1978, an opportunity arrived to begin hospitality specialization, which became the company;s first niche market, with now over 323 hotels designed. In 1986, LPB added Engineering services to its offering under the leadership of Greg Brayfield, P.E., which now includes structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering. In 1982, Interior Design was added. Vanessa Burt, ASID. has led this department since 1986.

Along with the hospitality specialization LPB also serves the local community with specialization in schools under the leadership of Becky Pope, AIA, as well as public buildings and retail under the leadership of Mike Clifford, AIA.

LPB values clean, efficient, functional design, with a high degree of attention to client satisfaction. It is because of our commitment to quality and keen attention to project development and budget that LPB has consistently ranked among the top 25 A/E firms by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. It is also for this reason that we are able to maintain a portfolio of clients who return year-after-year. Some for over 25 years!
