This system is designed to make it break every time any tiny thing happens. Then Oracle support tells you they can't fix it even though you paid a fortune to them for support. Then they say it's a programming problem and tell you they'll have to escalate the ticket to a programmer for which you'll pay an additional hourly fee for programming when it isn't a programming issues at all. It's just that they built a system that's corrupt. All the time your staff has been without the POS system and you've been sitting on the phone sometimes for an hour at a time on hold before being cut off and having to start all over again. I suggest getting a cash register if you're thinking about an Oracle Micros system.
The support for this system is so bad that had it not cost so much I'd replace it immediately. The training was non-existent and when you ask them questions after paying $2,000 for support they tell you that you didn't pay for training. There's no one who will help you if you aren't able to use the system to do something very fundamental where you didn't get the adequate training. It's a non-functional situation and I recommend that people run in another direction whenever the subject of Oracle Micros E7 comes up in regard to their food and beverage business.
