Milwaukee, WI  6/25/2009 -

While one of Jani-King's own, Jeff Weyker, Vice President of Jani-King of Milwaukee, took home MVP honors at a local charity softball game held in Wisconsin, the real winners were the families that benefited from this great event.  Hosted by NFL player Donald Driver and sponsored by Jani-King of Milwaukee and Jani-King of Madison, the annual charity softball game was homerun for everyone involved.

'I am very proud to be able to contribute to this event on behalf of our franchise owners and to help the Donald Driver Foundation reach their goals of assisting those in need,' said Jon McAlpine, Master Franchise Owner of Jani-King of Milwaukee and Jani-King of Madison.

The event featured Driver, members of the Green Bay Packers and representatives from various sponsors, with all proceeds benefiting the Donald Driver Foundation. The Donald Driver Foundation aims to help homeless families and address the issues of a lack of quality education in communities. The motto of the foundation is 'Strong Hands, Strong Minds, Loving Hearts.' Through donations, various service projects and social activities, the Donald Driver Foundation has helped families in need in Green Bay, in Appleton, throughout Wisconsin and in Donald's home state of Texas.

'It was great to have Jani-King participate in my annual charity softball game, featuring the Green Bay Packers Offense vs Defense,' said Driver.  'The game has become a huge summer tradition in Wisconsin, drawing sell-out crowds and it is televised statewide.  Proceeds from the game benefit homeless families and disadvantaged youth throughout Wisconsin and my home state of Texas.  Having the support of Jon McAlpine and Jani-King means the world to me.  They are a great group to work with and I truly appreciate all of their support.'

In addition to Weyker, George Raab and Jason Bray represented the Jani-King regional offices in Milwaukee.  As the main sponsor of the event, Jani-King received exposure on television, radio and print promotions.

In order to derive the greatest financial benefits, an organization must integrate wayfinding at the beginning of its facility's design and construction process rather than at the end. Fortunately, modern wayfinding solutions - from flexible modular signs to interactive digital displays - excel in meeting just about every need an organization my have, whether it's enhancing a visitor's experience throughout a facility or reinforcing the organizational brand, or both.
